Outdoor Newborn Session in Sparta, Michigan
Oh gosh. Where do I even begin with this session, I love it so much.
Mama started outfit planning right when she booked about two months before the session itself. I was sent outfit inspiration pics and gave feedback. It wasn’t until a few days before the session that we got together for her to try on a few dresses from my client wardrobe. Mama saw a little newborn bonnet hanging up, to which I showed her the matching sleeper onesie I have for newborns. She got really excited to use that instead of what she had, because that way she wouldn’t have to worry about what shoes to put on a newborn- lol. BOY, did everything come together perfectly. I am in love with the colors, textures, layering and tones off everything… not only the outfits, even the location provided such rich textures with all the dandelion seeds and tall grass.
We booked an early morning session in hopes to catch morning golden hour. Of course it rained that morning. It was still drizzling as we were getting out of our cars, but that soon stopped. There may not have been glowy sunshine, but the cloudy sky still made for beautiful images. When it rains, it actually makes everything look much more saturated in color, making these images extra colorful and bold. I honestly wouldn’t change a thing about that day!
Miss Sophie was a dream baby. I may have felt a little bad because Dad was up late with her. He joked about how she could sleep perfectly in 50 degree weather, but not in a warm house at night. Newborn logic. Big brother was so playful and fun. When he kissed and hugged his little sister, my heart was melting!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! It is such an honor capturing these milestones for families <3
